Bitsboard for Special Education
Special education classrooms need practice that fits the student, not the other way around. Bitsboard is a free iPad and iPhone app that turns one set of pictures, words, and recorded audio into 30+ learning games, so the same vocabulary can be practiced many different ways without rebuilding materials.
Why special education teachers use Bitsboard
- Your own content. Take a photo of a classroom object, type the word, and record your voice. The board is ready for games in a minute.
- One board, many games. The same board plays as Flashcards, Photo Touch, Match Up, Sort It, Listen Up, Spelling Bee, and more.
- Settings for every learner. Turn off games a student is not ready for, limit the number of choices, enable audio hints, and shorten sessions.
- Errorless options. Tile magnets and automatic progression keep early learners successful while they build confidence.
- Free catalog. Ready-made boards in the free catalog cover vocabulary, phonics, math, life skills, and social language.
